You should definately talk with a career advisor. You like music and science good choices. You need to narrow down your science choices but also consider how long you are willing to go to school. Getting a bachelors degree then a masters then on to a phd. Its quite a committment and will take some time. And if you're going for a phd in a science field, there won't be time for a band, I can tell you that. Talk to people who are in the fields that you are interested in. Talk to science teachers at school they all should at least have masters and phd degrees. Ask them about there experiences and what coursework to expect.

After you get your 2 year, try working for a while in the industry to see if it is really what you want to do. You might try working as a mixing engineer to get an appreciation for music production, for instance; some good two-year schools have programs in that.
If you are really musically talented, think about mixing styles; for instance, thievery corporation mixed horns and trance / brazilian and got a very interesting sound.
Your preferred style sounds a bit like chemical brothers with a harder edge... is it something musical that drives you in that direction, or just youthful head-banging? good to know -- the former will stay with you for a while, but the latter will leave you after a while.

Go to school. You have two years to decide on a major. Pick the one you love the most.
It doesn't have to be either/or. You can always play music and write music, and find people to play with. (But your chances of making a living at it are small, and, as you want to study science, you might as well do that, too.)

i don't know why you are asking me this. it seems like you want to do alot, and that is so cool. think about it, and maybe you will have to get priorities straightened out a little bit. What do you want to really do. i mean, what do you really want to do with your life, and what one of those would help the most for your life. i am not sure if i could tell you what to do if i tried, and i hope you aren't expecting me to come out with a list of what your life will look like, but just think about it, get priorities straightened, and again thinik about it. Hope you can get it all figured out, and don't try to figure it out now,... let some things fall into place. or let God put them in your life for you, and don't let any other person (like family), influence you to do something you aren't comepletely in love with doing. good luck.

I envy you with all those options.
You might need to spend some time fantasizing about the best possible job. Try to see it in all details. Write it down and then bring it to a career counselor. They can help you analyze it for your strengths and weaknesses. A counselor also has tests available to help you discover your interests and stregnths.
Have fun! Your life is just begining.

first and foremost ask your self which among these you like best and is on the top of your priority. i suggest that you go to school first for it is always the first step for a successful and rewarding career in the future. then after schooling, take pride and do things that you feel you are happy in doing... that's it... just enjoy things you do and everything will come although not easy but very rewarding as i said... gud luck!!!
