i have a lexmark 2300 its a all in one printer i put the cd in and i dont know what to do next it says i may have lost the server

First, you need to remove any cables connecting the computer to the printer. Next, restart Windows. Once you are logged on, connect the computer and printer, it is usually a USB cable. Turn on the printer. Windows should automatically detect a new device. It will prompt you to install a device driver. It will ask your permission to either connect to the Internet to find a driver or install one from an installation CD. At this point, insert the installation CD in to your drive. Windows will automatically install the printer's driver.

Put your hand on one side of the printer, and the place your other hand at the other side of the printer. Now you are in that position, pick the printer up, and hurl it with all you might out of the nearest window.

Lexmarks are cheap for a reason, ive been suckered into buying them a few times, and ive regretted it in just a few weeks.

ooo Ive got one of those, bought it in Tesco last week. Didnt you get a big sheet with pics and a manual. Make sure its all connected up properly and try again!

I have one too, but didnt have that problem? Might try hitting start and then click on "run" and follow the prompts.
Thats how i FINALLY got yahoo DSL to load... Took several tries though.
