Far and away, the coldest temperature ever measured on Earth was -129 Fahrenheit (-89 Celsius) at Vostok, Antarctica, on July 21, 1983.

well hottest temp is somewhere on venus and contrary to poular belief the coldest plant is mercury mercury has no atmospher so on the night time side it is colder than pluto so hottest=venus coldest=somewhere on night side of mercury

ever recorded anywhere orjust in one place??..i live in california and acouple weeks ago it was 109 but i think last year it was like 113.in iraq right now its over 120 soo thats pretty hot ...and i was born in a different part of california and hate the sun because im not used to hot wheather i was used to like 90 in summers and here its scorching..and here in california i dont think its ever snowed except for tahoe and sierras..but i dont know the lowest temp

120 degrees i think in death valley. some northern states by the great lakes routinely hit -100 degrees in the winter time.
