Does it make a difference with the black race violence is violence and should care about it

Not any more than we should care about any other kind of violence. I'm not particularly concerned about white-on-white violence, Asian-on-Asian violence, or violence that crosses racial lines either. My philosophy: violence helps to weed out the weak and helps animal species (such as humans) to evolve. That's how it's worked for millions of years, and that's how it will always continue to work.

Even our legal system is violent. What do we do when we catch somebody being violent? We lock them up in a place where they can learn to become MORE violent, then we let them back out into society, thus increasing the net amount of violence. So those of us who are "concerned" about violence don't really seem to be reducing the amount of it that takes place.

I believe violence is generally, but not universally, contained within one's own race in the US. I don't know if there is more black on black, white on white, asian on asian or hispanic on hispanic violence, but "black on black" certainly gets the most press, probably because it is generally more lethal. I've never had any of my white acquaintences murdered, but my next door neighbor was.

Yes, I think we should care, but of course this is a personal choice.

People are people, no matter what their color. Yes, we should care. Violence of any kind is still violence; against an individual, a group, or a nation. We should be against it 100%. I hope this helps.

should we care if there is any violence? what makes black on black violence different from any other violence? violence is violence. it is an act of anger or hate... so why would we want that?

Killing people is never something to be ignored- no matter who's doing it. To say we shouldn't care if it's stays in one race is just plain insensitive and offensive. I have lots of friends who are of races that are commonly victems of violence- and i sure would care if one of them was shot, no matter wh did it. The fact the violence is occuring so often is disturbing.

people shouldn't be looked at each other as just a certain race, violence between anyone isn't good.
