YES.. Because if it is no. There still a chance he or she will still die in there sleep, in a train, car or plane wreck. Get hit by something or anything. Join the Army and be killed overseas for oil. Die of health problems. Grow up to end up killing you. Hate crimes. There no way of knowing everything. But I think have the right to say YES. There SO MANY MORE Baby's born in the world that will have no family's to take care of them. Why have one more if you say NO.

I definately do not support abortion. If you want to have sex then you should be married and ready for children. If you are not married and/or do not want children use birth control. If it fails or if it's an accident then have the baby and put it up for an adoption. The baby is alive as soon as it is conceived. It doesnt deserve to be murdered because of a mistake. There are many families that would love to be parents but are unable to have children and by you putting up your child for adoption this allows the familes to be parents and it allows the child to live and have a supporting mom and dad. When babies are aborted they cry and make horrible sounds. Wouldn't you if you were being killed? They are alive and they feel it. Just because we can't remember being in the womb doesnt mean we couldn't feel things then. Every baby deserves the chance to live. Don't be selfish and think of only yourself. If you have an abortion you are a murderer and one day you will answer for it. Many women who do have abortions feel guilt and horrible anxiety for the rest of their lives after they did it.

YES, I support abortion upto a point... I think once a woman finds out she is pregnant and decides to have an abortion, she should have it that day (practically). I don't think it should be done after the 24 week. At this week, a baby can live on their own with major medical suppot, and a lot of babies have problems for the rest of their life if born this early!

Anyways, controlled abortion saves womens lifes. Women would have abortions regardless if it was illegal. If abortions are done in an illegal manner, then they are done in unsafe conditions and could consitute to the mother even dying herself, or coming out of it with major medical problems.

Abortions have been practiced for centuries. It was only the rise of the christian church in the 1400's that brought the practice of abortion to a stop among pagen religions in Europe. Even the Native Americans practiced abortion, but when the settlers came to America, they demanded they live by a different set of moral, rules, and values! Abortion was a form of population control, considering they didn't have any other type of birth control. Without population control you would kill a tribe in itself by starvation.

In the mid-late 1800's there was no type of known birth control used. Women were owned by there husband, and left to take care of all the children. LET me ask you this: is it fair to a woman to have 6 children a 14 hr day job, and a drunk husband at home? NO thats murder itself.

The women's sufferage movement has given women all sorts of independence, abortion being part of it. Women have fought for centuries for their rights of being a woman, and to have the right of having an abortion taken away is preposterous.

I think every woman, man and child should take a women in history class... and then say abortion is wrong! It is NO ONE elses bussiness whether or not someone decides to have an abortion... if that fetus would have been born, that child would not have been wanted and will grow up into an environment that was not wanting of a child... and to all of you who say JUST GIVE IT UP FOR ADOPTION!! There are tons of children up for adoption, whether it be here in america or in another country... they just aren't babies!!! So you say women who want abortions are greedy?? give me a break it is you who are greedy to not want an older child given up for adoption!

i support a woman's right to choose. it is better for both mother and child. it is proven that there is a direct connection between crime rates and abortion laws. places that allowed abortions had less crime 18, 16 years after the laws passed. this means less unwanted children, less children living in poverty and becoming criminals.
abortion is a well thought-of act. it is not a form of birth control. it puts a mental and physical toll on the woman. i can only assume that whoever does such a thing felt like they had no other choice, and i would be more than happy to provide anyone with that choice.
anyway, if we would make abortion illegal, women would still have them. they would have them in illegal and unhealthy, dangerous forms. they might die from unsanitary conditions and fake medicine. they might also commit suicide. now, that's two lives lost.
abortion rights have very much to do with our quality of life, whether we want them to be, or not. they allow women to have control over their lives and bodies, and choose to have children when they can provide a good life for them.

No I do not support abortion.

Abortion is murder. If you had unprotected sex & got pregnant, then you should be responsible enough to either give that child up for adoption or keep the child & raise him/her as your own. If you didn't want a child to begin with, then why have unprotected sex when you knew what might happen.

This is a double sided sword, I don't believe in abortion but in the same token if you are raped then why should you have to carry and care for a child from that. Also if the risk to the mother are undeniably leading to death if she carries full term then I believe she should be able to abort. But to get pregnant and use it as birth control methods then no I do not believe that is right. So like I said for me it is a double edged sword. I know it's double standards but that's how I feel.

Okay as a form of BC hell no I do not support abortion. There is very few circumstances where I feel its right such as when a woman is raped, or the "child" is too young to survive childbirth. It is a very controversial subject and I would anticipate alot of people are totally against it.

I don't support abortion in the least because I believe God has a plan for the baby before conception, and I don't play the "what if" game about rape or incest. It honestly, breaks my heart...to think about all those children never getting a chance at life.
