The truth is honesty and sincerity.
A lie is untruth and insincerity.
Intuition is a good way to tell the difference between a lie and the truth, but it takes practice, and a pure heart. Reason is another way. A combination of reason and intuition is the best way to tell the truth from a lie.
If one is honest and sincere, with oneself and with others, one will be able to tell if others are honest and sincere, by feeling, of course.
To find out the truth, you have to look for it.
For concrete things, ie is the aid reaching the people in need, Did the mechanic charge me the correct price, etc. one just needs to research the facts.

Aboslutely. Truth works. Lies do not. Complete truths work better than partial truths.
Think about it: If you decided tomorrow that you could fly by flapping your arms, that stones were edible, and that cars could operate on ice cream instead of gasoline, how well do you think that would work out? It wouldn't. Those are all completely untrue.
If you decided that people liked being punched in the face when you saw them, and you didn't end up in jail, you would probably soon find yourself surrounded only by people who DO like to be punched in the face. This is a good demonstration of the 'Pygmalion effect' - sometimes you can MAKE something true by acting as if it were, if only locally.
And then we come to some of the more ephemeral things. Some people find their lives immensely enhanced by believing in a god. Some find it likewise improved by not doing so. And for each of those people, their version of reality is true... at least during their lifespan (all bets are off for the next life).
This is part of the point of science - to distinguish universal, objective truths from those which are more subjective and personal.

okay, first things first. only 18 year olds can tell the difference, so if you're not 18, stop reading and forget about it.
if you are at least 18, then you are entitled to the truth. the problem is, sometimes it's difficult to discern so I've devised a great philosophical experiment which ALWAYS works.
First, you'll need to remove all your clothes except for your bra and panties. then, while looking in the mirror, you need to slowly unhook your bra and let it fall to the floor while caressing your boobs. when your nipples get hard and erect, pull your panties off and take a good look at that nicely shaven pussy. then finger yourself until your fingers get all wet. then....um...forget it. this is boring.

u can juz tell them apart by looking the way they r saying any lier good or bad theyll atleast stammer a bit when they lie
