Many times people grow up to be the product of their environments. In my case, I was short fused, angry, and superficial. I slowly changed through time. I got my self away from the environment I was in. My Wife produced another environment for me to live in. So, the answer to the question, My opinion, would be establish a new environment with him. Don't be afraid to let him know when your feelings are hurt, tell him it is okay to express himself without screaming , that you can here him loud and clear..

Good luck. Try to find a guy who acts and talks in a manner you find proper and see if he has any common ground with the one you wish to correct. This is a tough area and touchy in all respects.

First things first... He has to be open and willing to change... Meaning listening to you or whomever... You can love care and want to change him but its just like an addiction.. If he isn't willing to make the change your sol... First things first sit down and talk with him. Tell him what you feel. And go from there.. Good luck..

it is going to be hard to change him, since that is what he is used to. if he is willing to go to counseling i would start there. if not, maybe he should limit contact with his family. if he does that it will give you time to "deprogram" him so to speak. but it depends on how he feels about his family. you should just keep setting examples for him and showing him how much you love him.
