I have this friend. She says we are best friends and I hope we are more. Today we were playing pool (with a few other kids aswell), and when I was sitting on the stool, and she wanted to sit on it, rather than just ask she kinda started nudging me with her butt, like from the side. She did it alot! I have known her for 2 years and really like her. And I was wondering: Did she do this because she is comfortable around me? Or was she flirting?

Alot of people are asking how she acts around others. To me, it seems that she touches me more. As in she never seems to touch the other guys around. But she does touch me, whether it is the above example or hitting me (lol) of just when we are walking close or sitting close and our arms or legs touch, she doesnt move them away.

She is a prick teaser just having fun at your expense. She knows you like her and she is having fun exploiting that.

Ugh...Coming from a girl it's both...I've always had more guy friends than girl friends and we tend to flirt with guys we are comfortable with. Mostly it's harmless...The only way you can know for sure if it was more than friendly flirting is to ask her. Other than that, though, you need to see how she is with other guy friends...Does she act the same towards them, too? If so she may just be naturally flirty. If you are the only one she opens up to then it might be something more. Good luck! =)

She's just really comfortable around you. If she's flirting with you, trust me , you'd know it. She'd be all over you, trying to hug you all the time etc. she'd be subtly trying to give you hints alittle different than hitting you. Although that is a sign that she could be growing to like you more than a friend. So, keep a look out. Hints will be flying !

Offer to hook up with just her, before or after hanging with your friends. If she says yes, then enjoy it & if she still flirts with you, ask her out.

This way if she doesn't want to hang out with you a little earlier or later than with the rest of your friends, you know she is just being a silly girl & you can keep your friendship.

Don't wait too much longer, because if she does like you, she will get discouraged & move on.l

well it depends if she is a flirty person or not. I have a best friend who is a guy and people think we flirt but really we are just comfortable with eachother. Does she flirt with a lot of guys? Think about that and you should be able to answer your question.

once a girl calls you her best friend, you will never get any action from her. don't follow her around because other girls who might actually think of you as more than a ride to the mall. Will think you are already attached and leave you alone.

Being friends is okay but if you want romance the most crushing NO is "you are my best friend."

Ok, that's a tough one. I think you have to look for more than one sign, she did this because she's obviously comfortable around you, but wheteher she likes likes you or not is not so easy to define. Does she look you in the eye a lot when she talks to you? does she flirt in more than one way? look for other signs before you decide to do anything that might risk ruuining your friendship.

she wants you man... but my guess is, she is afraid to say anything... ask her on a date, and make sure you make it clear that it is a DATE... that, or you could just straight up tell her you think she's great, beautiful, etc.. and that you're starting to get feelings for her... if she feels the same, it will work out great. I ended up dating my best friend after 2 years of being friends... we had one of the best relationships I've ever had.

sounds like she's comfortable around you... the best relationships start off as frienships so don't be too in a rush to jump into one. If the feeling is mutual she will give you hints a long the way... but also value your relationship with her if something more intimate is not meant to be...
