it's not the destination, it's the journey.
tis best to love and lost than never to have loved at all
the effort yields its own rewards
failure is the best teacher

life deals you cards...sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. but at least you're in the game.

yeah. we're thrown into an abyss of mystery and wonder and we have no idea how far we have yet to learn. first the earth is flat. then we find that the solar system is huge. galaxies...clusters of galaxies...superclusters of galaxies....suddenly the solar system is a tiny dot in the universe. and the universe is not only humongous, but expanding as we speak.

and i believe that we are part of multiverse, a collection of universes that we can't even see. clusters and superclusters of universes, expaning into infinity.

that leaves a lot to discover in the countless generations ahead. humans will always be curious and will never be satisfied...every discovery opens up twenty more questions.

dark matter? string theory? time travel?

and the things that really matter in life...people, relationships, love, friendship, struggle, adversity, hope, courage, faith, and above all the drive and motivation to figure out what the hell we are supposed to be doing here.

This is what it means to be human.
This is the journey of life.

And it's only the beginning...

Well, is that statement true? Think about that. If it is a false statement, then the truth would be: "the purpose of life is not to discover its truths." Now think about that, and all the mystery in the universe, and the human drive to figure them all out. That is the purpose of life. Besides, if we were ever capable of discovering all of life's truths, then we would be capable of achieving it. Then what? We realize all the truth of life, and suddenly life has no purpose. So how about this- assuming that the statement IS true, and the truths of life can be realized, what is the purpose of life after the truths are realized, if the purpose of life has been fulfilled?

I used to always say, "You gotta to reach up and grab Life by the balls and squeeze afore 'e kicks ya in the face!"

But your way says pretty much the same thing and sounds a lot more sophisticated.
