Stonefish are fairly easy to keep, but hard to teach to accept frozen food. You would be safe keeping it with a lionfish if it was one of the smaller types, and the lionfish won't fit in it's mouth. I have found that most marine stores are capable of getting in whatever you want if you give them enough time. But they aren't always that good at distinguishing exact species.
