No. Would Mel Gibson be correct by saying all wars are caused by Negroes or African Americans? Think about it!
If Mel Gibson aired similar views about African Americans, Chinese or Muslims EVERYONE would be outraged.
Drink Driving is bad enough. But Racism too. And he is supposed to be a Catholic Christian Role Model?
This is a bit like Rodney King in reverse?
Mel Gibson said something like "All the Wars in the World are the Fault of the Jews and Israel." This is the same Anti-Semitic rubbish that GOOD CATHOLIC ADOLF HITLER spouted.
He also called the female officer "Sugar ****"!!! Believe it or not Yahoo won't print my 4 letter word beginning with T and ending ts.
He is an Anti-Semite Bigot who got away with it for far too long. Hutton Gibson his father is a well known Anti Semite Bigot and Holocaust Denier member of Catholic sect OPUS DEI.

Maybe he's preparing for his next role a bio of Bin Laden.
And Mel Gibson has the chutzpah to make a mini series on the Holocaust.

Jewish groups have a disturbing amount of control of America media and politics, no question, but I can't imagine they can be held responsible for all the wars? Weren't the Incan tribal wars in the first millennium AD? Surely no jews involved there? Now us cathloics, we've been up to a bit of mischief in our time. I recon Mel was just transferring his catholic guilt to the jews. He was drunk, Jeez', give the guy a break. America's becoming a very depressing place to live. Next they'll be upping the alert level to red and there'll be a run on duck tape again. What did people do with all that unused duck tape anyway?

Although i have always found Mel Gibsons films to be excellent, i thought his comments were out of order! The two main causes of war and conflict are...'Power' and 'Greed'. Which when you think about it could be what made him want to become a famous actor....So that he can have the power to demand thousands of pounds/dollars for his role in films. What i would like to ask Mr Gibson is " Would you play the part of a Jew in a film if the offer was right?"...I bet the answer would be most definitely YES!!

Not excusing Mel...But no he was not correct, and he wasn't in his right mind, either. If the reports are correct, and he was in a state of "black out" then he could very well have been walking around claiming that little pink men were trying to infiltrate his boxer shorts-and he may have fully believed it at the time, too. Spend a bit of time with a drunk...you'll learn alot about the human mind.
I can really only think of one conflict the Jew(Israel) is involved in. I can think of a few that involve Muslims....

But Zionist are responsible for the root of the conflicts. But being mean about it and hating them won't stop them.
In the middle east, Israel defines whats wrong and right. Unfortunately.
And Gibson had no right to single out the Jews for what their government is doing.
I mean I wouldn't say that every American is a dirty oil hog, now would I? Its always the government.

Mr Gibson could well be described as an alcoholic with the mental problem of dementia. I have no great admiration for the Jewish religion per se but I greatly admire the strength and fortitude they have as a nation. They're not walking into the gas chambers now and that to me is admirable.

No - but almost all wars have a cause (or more likely causes) that involve religious factions
If you believe that there is a God why not agree that it is the same god?
I associate "god" with all (most) that we do not know about our existence in this and possibly other parallel universes.

I am disgusted by mr Gibson's remarks and am currently throwing out any film in my collection featuring him...Well except the lethal Weapons of course. Oh, and Braveheart. Well I can't get rid of mad max either. Oh fcuk it I'll just get rid of Signs. I've always hated that piece of $hit!

There are moderate and fanatical people in every country on the planet and Israel is no exception. The only problem is they are unable to accept the fact and consider their every action prior to and since 1948 is right and excusable.
They will reap a bitter harvest if they continue with this philosophy and ignore the lessons of history.
