All I did was download it and install it. Once i installed it, i was able to open it first thing. You might need to install some plug-in to use it, but it should tell you that when you try to open it. I need more information to help you. What happens when you try to download it?Are you trying to go back to the website in order to use it? just open the .exe file.

You need to be connected to the internet to view, because it will download the latest satellite images. If it still isn't working, try reinstalling it. If you're using Google Earth for driving directions, I recommend you paying the extra couple bucks and getting Streets and Trips. It gives you everything you need, and then some.

Download from their site, click to install, run the program. You must be connected to the Internet for it to work.

downloading is not enough you have to install it before you can use it... just run the program you downloaded
