I don't think all Muslims are terrorists (I sure am not. I can't even kill a roach.).
And, neither are all terrorists Muslim. (as many people mentioned, Timothy McVeigh, and down here in TX, Rafael Resendez ("Railroad Killer"))
Certain leaders of certain powerful countries go around killing innocent civilians, and they aren't Muslim. So they're also terrorists, right?
Only some people generalize like that, and those are the uneducated, media-brainwashed, Bush lovers.
Also, "jackpack" your answer is extremely rude. And, if Muslims are "starving" and pork is the only thing available, we are allowed to eat it. Get your facts straight.

Well, one of the reasons that this is percieved as the truth is that although only a small percentage of Muslims are radical/terrorists, the vast majority, by their silence and refusal to condemn them, or actually do anything themselves to stop the radicals, are basically seen as either agreeing with them, or just not caring. That is what the western countries see, and that is the perception. Most statements by Muslims around the world after 9/11 tend to support this. Most said that what happened on9/11 was too bad, and they felt sorry for the ones that died, but that America had it coming.
That is why we generalize. Because most of the Muslim world gives us no reason not to.

No, I do not, but I know that the religion is a possible breeding ground for hatred or radicalism. Do not get me wrong, because I know muslims, and I am friends with them. Their beliefs are different from radical muslims. The Quran however does make mention about violence against those who are not Muslim, for the sake of Allah. I would imagine, that this may be used as a reason for those who claim to be truly commited to the faith, to undertake extremist tactics, as a way to offer worship to their god, Allah. However, there are many peaceful muslims in this world, who are not polluted by this radical Jihadist doctrine, which may or may not be the origins of Islam, but is definately a doctrine of evil. So why do people generalise people as Terrorists? Fear, ignorance, and stereotypes. I try not to be tainted by these 3 things.

I'm not entirely sure how this response is going to be viewed .. some might say racist or some might say biased but it's just a comment so no offence to anyone! but i think that in a war there are always going to be innocent people caught in the middle .. and when those innocent people get caught in between they will start to panic and believe whatever the next person says .. to generalize an entire population for what a certain group has done .. i don't think that's very fair ..

I'll answer your question with another question.
Why do you generalize that all people think that all Muslims are terrorists?
In this MODERN day and age, I literally mean PRESENT time, ALL terrorists are Muslims, but not all Muslims are terrorists, however, a LOT of Muslims support what terrorists are doing.
I am sick of this religion not taking responsible for it has created, a fluorishing culture of violence. And what does it do? Blame and uses the West as a scapegoat. Maybe you are the one who is brainwashed mate.

No, nobody thinks that, even if they say they do. Everyone of us whether we would like to admit it or not are prejudiced. That means we prejudge people. We make a snap decision as soon as we see what people look like. If you see a Korean person you may think they do drycleaning or sell donuts. If you see a Chinese person you may think to yourself, maybe I'll give them a little more room on the freeway. If you see a black guy wearing or carrying a bandana with his pants hanging half off his a$$, you might imagine he's carrying a gun. If you see a white guy in an undershirt (beater) with a Nascar hat and a couple of missing teeth, you may allow the thought that he is a sister fu@kin, meth freak to enter your mind. The simple fact is the people who terrorized NYC claimed to be muslims, so somewhere in our head we file that with all the other stereo types, good or bad, and when we see Akbar Shabala Mahmoud Sharif, a picture of Saddam or Osama also pops up in our head and we make a snap judgement. Even miss or mister goody to shoes out there who thinks only good things of every body thats still a pre-judgement (prejudism) if you don't really know them. And thats a fact Jack.

No I do not think all Muslims are terrorist. In our media, the terrorist get the top news and they are all Muslims. So there is a natural connection. I would like to see Muslims protest against terrorism, that would help people see your point. What we are shown are Muslims protesting and supporting terrorist actions.

It is the image they project.
Not all Muslims commit terrorists acts. Most Muslims condone the Islamo-facists terrorist actions..... they will not speak against them.
In this war, you are for the terrorists or against them. If you don't speak out against them, you are for them and the attrocities they commit in the name of Mohammed.
Finally, the overwhelming majority of terrorist actions throughout the world is committed by Muslims.
Now you know. There are many ways to support terrorists, many ways to be labeled one of them.
Why aren't Muslims waging war on terrorists with an all out assault. Muslim terrorists have been killing their own for a long long time. Mohammed was one of the first.

because the media only shows the violence over in the middle east and Americans eventually become blinded to the truth and begin to believe that every Muslim is a terrorist. When in-fact it is only a few radical Muslims that are committing the terrorist attacks.

most of the terrorist are muslims. whos causeing all the problems in iraq not the christians or any other reglion. even satan reglion does not kill so many people. and have so much hatered as the muslim reglion. muslims are not good people. its either worshup how we do or we kill you. or shun you. why? If alleh was the true god. why would he want people to mudder for him. or destroy the whole country. and let his children live in garbage.
and if you die. are you going to say yea i killed a hundred people but i did not eat pork. I doupt your diet will come into effect on judgement day. You would let your children starve just so they wont eat pork. and praying in the east and west. i think god knows your praying to him. there should not be any reglion. only beliefs. If you believe in God and do good to all people. thats it that is all you have to do. not murrder people. Muslims mudder people not kill them thats the difference. they do it for there own pleasure.
