Yes, it's typically just a 'fix-it' ticket. Where you pay a small fine, and you have to go into DMV and show them that you fixed the problem. They'll inspect it, take your fee, and say Thank you, Come again.

If you choose to not fix it, when your registration comes up for renewal, they will say, HEY, you never fixed your "fix-it ticket" and they will refuse to renew your registration until you do.

Yes u need to find out in your state how dark you can tint your windows...Every state is different....Good luck...
