I've found plenty of sites that tell me how to read tabs but I'd like to know how to turn the tabs into music notes so I can play it on my keyboard.

I admittedly did not spend enough time studying these sites to fully understand whether they are actually relevant to what you are trying to do. (I did understand your question, however). You are probably going to have to break down the tabs/notes in steps. It might be helpful to make a diagram for yourself as you figure out which key notes the tab marks represent.

Anyway, I thought I would give these links to you anyway so you can check them out and see if they are helpful. I think the first one looks especially interesting... Let me know if this helped!

This site explains how to read the tabs, and specifies where the notes are located on the guitar fret board:

Memorize the notes on the fretboard, then play them on your pian-y

you have to know the guitar and know what fret on what string makes what note.
