There is no one Loch Ness Monster, there are quite a few living in a colony the length and breadth of the Great Glen. The reason they have not been "discovered" yet is because they are in fact Selkies, which have been popularised in recent years as Deep Ones by some damned fool of a novelist. They simply walk among men when the tourists and monster hunters arrive. Only the Selkies of the Great Glen have left the sea for some strange reason. Some say because of the fishing boats with their deadly nets. Others because the call of the Eagles is to them what their own siren song is to the mariners.
Next time you visit the Great Glen see for yourself how many of the locals are quiet and reserved and wear high-collared pullovers even on hot days, and gaze at you with eyes as deep and green as the sea itself.
And remember never to go too close to the water alone...

First off, it's spelled Loch Ness monster...know how to spell something before you put it out in cyberspace for everyone to read.
No one knows for sure about the Loch Ness monster. There have been many eye witnesses and a few photographs taken of the supposed monster. But no scientific evidence has been found on the monster.

Most definately. They would not have all that photographic evidence and all the sightings by such level headed and independent people, who have no interest in maintaining a good cash flow economy from all the other people flocking to Loch Ness to spot Nessie. There is a fossil now as well linking it to Nessie and the fact that she exists.
