I have an old Ithaca 20 gauge shotgun, and I bought it I think in the early 70's, and think it is time for a new shotgun. I use it for smallgame and birds, mostly pheasants and squirrels. I also use it for turkey sometimes. What brand would you recommend that isn't very expensive?

The mossbergs are good guns. We have two of them. I prefer the charles daily, though. I have a 12 gauge. It's light weight and has little recoil. It handles like the winchester 20 gauge youth model, which we also have one of. My 11 yr old had rather shoot it than the 20 gauge. It's a very accurate gun.
