A Palm Z22 is $99 and can play games.

You aren't going to get enough memory to "watch movies" or play music. The Z22 only has 32MB. Realistically, you'll want a PDA with a minimum of 512MB and preferably 1GB or more.

I'm not sure if Pocket Tunes (for music) or The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP) (for video) works on the Z22 or not.

Unfortunately, for that kind of budget, you will not be able to do everything that you want. For $100, you can get the Palm Z22. It is a great Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and you can play some games on it. However, the Z22 does not have an expansion card, which would limit you to do a lot of things, including play DVDs on it.

For about $175, you can get a used Tungsten C on eBay. It is a powerful, although older model from Palm. It has built-in keyboard, fast processor, gorgeous screen, WiFi for wireless Internet access at HotSpots, voice-record, SD expansion card, and good software to use at school, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and even powerpoint presentations. This is one of my favorite Palm handheld, and unfortunately, Palm did not release new yet better version of this unit.

Ideally, you should look at the Palm T/X (about $299 new) or LifeDrive (about $399 new). I really like the LifeDrive. It offers 4 GB hard drive for a lot of storage of movies, photos, and anything else, built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, gorgeous large screen, voice-recorder, landscape/portrait view of screen, and a lot of great applications. On either unit, I would greatly advise to buy the wireless keyboard so you can even type notes in class.

The LifeDrive is as close to a laptop-replacement as Palm units allow. It is not nearly as fast as a laptop, but it can give you a lot of flexibility. Then again, the unit is 3 - 4 times what you are willing to spend. I would suggest looking at eBay, even for used units.

If you buy used, make sure the unit is scratch free, both body and screen.

You can't really buy a nice one with all those customizations unless you spend at least $350.00. A good one to buy is a Palm Treo 650 because they're older now and cheaper than they were a few months ago. They have the ability to play videos and pictures, as well as capturing them, you can go on the internet, and talk on the phone. It has Palm OS, which is a really easy-to-learn and smoothly running PDA os. Plus it has a touch screen with a stylus. It goes through Verizon, Sprint, and Cingular. (I reccomend Verizon even though Cingular has better service, cuz verizon has VCAST and instant acces to Wi-Fi internet for a lower cost than the others [Sprint doesn't have it at all], so if you get it, get it with Verizon).

i does not placed a floor on top; there's no longer something incorrect with a 5'8/5'9 safeguard on the ingredient. So adult males such as you and that i tend to have previous due turning out to be spurts. i'm 19, 5'10 and alter, and that i'm hoping to be 6' with the aid of 21. i've got grown very slowly. My wager is you would be a minimum of 5'9 at 21, so which you would be very nicely, as long as you have the mandatory potential set and ability. proceed to develop your interest and you should be high-quality in college. do no longer project approximately your top, guy, in simple terms circulate available and play.

A hundred bucks is tough.

My suggestion?

The Palm Zire 31.

They are hard to find on the shelves now. But you can find them new on eBay for about $100 with shipping.

The Palm tungsten E is worth considering. It has a better screen but a slower processor.

For what it's worth, I would avoid the current budget model, the Z22. It only has 24.6 MB of available space and no expansion slots.
