well, i'd hate to admit it (cuz i'm a rocker), but rap and R&B have taken over the tpo 40's so rap and R&B are the most popular 4 now

but about 100+ years ago, it was classical music

i think rock is pretty dominant. i mean, usually alternative. coz i guess it's the most tolerable genre? not much screaming, words are almost always clear, good beat, melody and rythm....
