why does he pronounce it glycerREEN instead of the way you're supposed to say it?

that's just annoying to me!

No... glycereen IS how you say it.

It's always been annoying to me too. To the people who said it's supposed to be pronounced glyceREEN, that's not true, at least in the United States.

Two thoughts about why he pronounces it that way:

1) Because he's a rock star and he can pronounce words however he wants. (e.g. our good friends in Breaking Benjamin, who wrote a whole song about a poly-AY-mor-us friend of theirs.)

2) Because perhaps that's how they say it in jolly old England.
