Interesting question...I think all 3 have their particular attributes, along with separate defining emotions. To lump them together and vote one above the rest, in my opinion, would not do justice to the other two. All three are very powerful emotions and are different to each individual at different times.
They are too powerful and to complicated...and too singular to be judged as a group.
What I think is essential though, is how well one can handle each one separately when he is hit with either...flush in the face.

That's an interesting way to look at it... Pain is powerful, but can actually be caused by love. And the threat of pain can cause fear.
Love can invoke a great degree of both pain and fear, so I am going to say that love overrides fear, which overrides pain...

The answer is very relative. In some cases love can override fear, but in others fear can override love. As for the pain... I think it can override both.

I believe fear is the most powerful emotion, because its very difficult to accomplish anything if there is fear, and with everything that is going on in this world at the moment I think a lot of it has to do with fear, the fear of terrorisim, fear of death, distruction and the list goes on and on, so I truly believe that fear overrides other emotions.

Definately love, because that is the only emotion that can create fear and pain all at the same time. Love in it's rawest form can cause you do things you never dreamed possible. And come back for more dispite the fear and the pain. Love is eternal. Pain is fleeting and fear can be overcome quickly.

I'm not a silly romantic by any means but in my experience its amazing how much pain you can tolerate when you love someone. The same holds for fear because the first instinct is to look towards someone you love when you are in fear.

Love. Real love. Even the Bible says, "there is no fear in love." Pain... ? That's just a byproduct of the human condition. Love conquers all.

LOVE is the only force that actually changes lives PERMANENTLY. The other two may do a quicker temporary job, but love is much stronger.
