ones that'll last longer and make you look cool and rich .. or ones that will save you money in the long run but still look the same? i for one choose imitation =]

i for one choose authentic. you can tell which ones are fake...plus with basketball shoes the fakes are definitely not going to be using any real tech like air max or zoom air.

if i have to save money...instead of going for a pair of $200 jordans i'll opt for a $75 pair of air force ones. af1s are cooler anyway.

it's fine to buy things that are less expensive as long as you are not purchasing something that is a "imitation". the reason you should never buy "knock off" designer gear, or anything else that’s fake for that matter is because you are supporting intellectual property theft – which is illegal and is becoming a really big problem for our economy. our ideas can be stolen and produced cheaper in other countries… but what would happen if, after stealing our inventions and learning from them, someday these countries who are robbing us become the innovators? what then? well, that will be it. the end of life as we know it. we will no longer big the biggest economy in the world and our children will be the ones who are going without... all because some people needed to create a label whore – fake designer image.

please think about this next time you buy "imitation".

here's just a couple articles on this, but it's very common knowledge and anyone who's even slightly aware of what's going on outside there sorry consumerist world knows about this and the effect it's already having on our econemy:

imitation... you can buy more. I rather have 4 pairs of shoes that cost $50 each, then just 1 that cost 200$...

The pair for 80 bucks, because Americans need to learn how to save money. If we don't start saving and keep on spending the money that we don't posess on all the latest styles, we are not only dooming ourselves, but out children. It's blasphamous to hear the statistics about people in credit card debt, and it sickens me!

Folks, fashion should take a backseat to saving for retirement.

Imitation, no one really looks closely at your shoes to see it they're fake! Ane with the leftover money I can buy another imitation shoe, or a cute outfit.

I am one that chooses to buy the higher priced ones. For some reason pricey things are in. If you have on off brand or no name brand stuff where I live at, people think youre poor or cant afford the real stuff. Its just a simple thing:If you have the money, get what you want

If you gonna buy Jordan's for cheap, and play basketball in them, they're going to fall apart very quickly.

So, go with some New Balance's or on sale Nike's. They'll do the job, too.

I bought imitation K-Swiss at some Mexican shop in Chicago for $5. They aren't high quality but they're good enough for me.
