Because you have more free time to monitor the weather? Because it's important that it doesn't rain and so you take more notice if it does?

Ther's two types of rain, weekday and weekend. You don't see the first type 'cause you are at work. And that's why it always seems to rain more at w/e

Simply because when you are stuck in an office you don't notice when the weather is bad. You only see it at the weekends.
