Good question. May be it would be an even better question if you ask the right people, like your parents?

If you understood mitosis and meiosis, especially the latter, you would understand that the probability of your coming into existence was one over sixty-four point eight trillion, just before your conception. I'm thinking that qualifies as no reason at all.
But to feel one is useless and can't do anything right, that is a totally different issue.
Everyone is a fluke, but having come into existence each one can be glad and make the most of it. Life is good.

I felt that way until I realized that there were about 40 billion different possibilities of a person being born from the egg and the sperm that made me, and I won. That in itself has to mean something. I forgot where I read this but I'm pretty sure it was in one of Og Mandino's self-help books. Since that moment, I've felt like an important part of the human race. The slightest word, act, or deed can cause revolutions and inspiration.

Rofl
experience!
Just remember cuase and effect.
When some one trips over a skate board in the middle of the floor you have cause (Skateboard) and effect, the triping over the skateboard.
Every action has a reation every little choice that you make will either lead you to a great effect or the effect of falling over on the skatboard that you may have put there, this is how life is. ITs like a bunch of dominos lined up. Just waiting to be pushed.

I am the exact opposite of what you are asking, but I am answering your question anyway, because I think that your question itself touches on something that people need to think about.

I feel that I was born for no reason at all, and that we (as humans) exist for NO REASON at all...this isn't to say that we're bad or useless, it just means that the universe (God, or whatever) is kind enough, and gentle enough to let us come of with our own reasons for existing, and the only way we can do that is to experince life and to discover those reasons for ourselves. For me, this is called Freedom. It's not always comfortable, and it's not always pleasant, but it's totally and unconditionally FREE.

Conversely, I am useless and can find SOME use for myself at some point in time. And I make zillions of mistakes, some of which are so heroically stupid that I can only laugh in amazement about them later, and there ARE times when I feel that I can't do anything right, but I have found that those time occurr when I am listening to people who have plans for my life that aren't exactly beneficial to me.

In answer to the second part of your question, I think I felt that way more when I was busy listening to people telling me who and what I should be, rather than looking at my own life and determining for myself who and what I am, and I suspect that is the main reason lots of people suffer from unhappiness in their lives. It's not that they're useless and doing something wrong, so much as they're listening to what strangers have to say about them, rather than what they have to say about themselves.

We all feel that way sometimes. The main reason is that someone wanted us to be born. There is always a reason. And we all have a talent, it just takes some of us longer to figure it out.

Maybe I shouldn't be answering this question because I don't feel that I'am useless and can never do anything right. In fact, if anyone does feel that way including you the poster, I'd say to them that; "We're fearfully and wonderfully made and we're all unique and special in the sight of our creator!"

Everything was created for a reason. Cancer and disease are here for a reason. Maybe we are here to destroy also. Our time is now. Overpopulation, destruction of the environment, hatred of our own kind,(war). Nuclear bombs, etc. etc... Maybe the end really is near and maybe now is our time. Help those oil companies spred pollution. Kill your neighbor. Hate anyone or anything different, be afraid of gay people they might get you.(and you may like it. Join a religion and let them tell you how to be don't use your common sense or your own brain.

I know I do, I can never seem to do anything right. I get a job and I stuff it up or I get a great boy friend, who is now my husband and I am always getting on at him. Maybe i would be better off on my own.

I think people are born with a chance to do great things and then they are shown the reality that unless they are born with a silver spoon in their mouthes the only chance they have is to wait for one to drop from above. Life is meaningless Death is inevitable. Excepet it.

the main reason for us to be born in this world is to show how much our parents loved each other. second reason is to prove that we r here to continue the generation. these two reasons are common to all living things . other reasons ,,,,,, it differs from person to person.so. nobody has the right to think that they r born for no reason.
