your talking about the 'laundrymat'? in italian thier called, 'lavanderia'. if your willing to get info on that, i dont know how it goes in other main cities, but here florence there are tons of laundrymats all around called, 'wash n' dry' where you can bring your clothes, put in some coins and make them wash in the washing machines, its the same as in the states. if they have it in florence, they would equally have them in other main towns, since usually the only ones who use it are the tourists and students.

Ciao.. Well I think it is wonderful you have such passion for Italy like this so much so that you want to be italian! I'm half italian and half english, and I love Italy so much I will live there one day and become a citizen myself You don't need to accomplish anything else in my opinion! I don't know what you look like, but you have olive skin you say kind of look italian, probably you would look southern..which is great!
