Billions of dollars go to Israel every year from the USA from our tax dollars and yet people are still homeless here in the USA after hurricane Katrina. isn't that funny?

I think, bush got an answer and he got to answer this, I wish people can face him and ask him, why are you doing this to the world, people in Lebanon and Palestine are dying because of that money given to the Israeli government.
They want to rule the world, for what for Oil and power, now Lebanon and Hezbollah next Syria or Iran, who knows which country is next!
The world is going crazy because of George Bush , if it wasn't for him the world well be a better place , I hope bush won't be re-elected and I hope the next president well know how to spend the money on his people instead of killing others

It used to be a "balance of power" strategy that led to the USA to massively fund Israel. That was the Cold War. Now it seems more to do with the religious zealots in charge of the USA seem to think that funding Israel will speed up the return of Christ. Seriously. And it's not funny.

It'd be funny, if it weren't so sad. Even though they've been slaughtering innocent people lately, Israel is our strongest ally in the Middle East, because of their Democracy and parliamentary system. Your question raises more questions. Like why do we spend billions fighting this stupid war in Iraq?

We give money to lots of countries, what is odd about that? We also gave money to Katrina victims that went and spent it on stripers, breast implants, and vacations in hawaii. I would rather my tax dollars go to a political ally that is constantly defending itself against terrorists than pay for some no job having idiot to go to a strip club.

We give them Billions and they turn around and spend those billions on arms from American arms manufacturers. Its a way of lining the pockets of the people who really run this country, the people in charge of the military industrial complex. You know, the guys Eisenhower warned us about in his last adress as president.
Death is our biggest export and money maker.

Perhaps it is because Israel is fighting the Hezbos so that they will not kill more US citizens. If the Hezbos and other radical groups like them go unchecked we will have more to worry about than hurricanes. How would your mother look in a Burqa?

I doubt the people who give away the money are worried about going homeless, they are in nice homes with bodyguards and air conditioning when it gets hot. Its all in the name of greed.
