I don't think anyone should hate anyone else. Minimally, they should be tolerant of other people's lifestyles and preferably ACCEPTING of other people. It doesn't mean you have to agree, just mind your own business!

There is no such thing as homophobia. It's a nonsense term made up by the media to throw out at people whenever someone rightly calls homosexuality a deviation.
Instead of accepting the FACT that NO ONE IS BORN with the desire to stick their penis in another's rectum, they say "ohhhhh you're just AFRAID that you might be GAY" which of course is a buch of ****, because TRUE statistics show that only one in a hundred has this illness, so there's nothing to be afraid of.

I agree with you. Homophobia is the oldest thing in the book? People shouldn't judge by their preference but by personality and the person inside. This type of hate is just got to end.

I'm not saying that the religious right is wrong for condemning homosexuals and terrorizing them for thousands of years. I'm just saying...FUUUUCK YOU. _Christina Applegate
I agree with Ms. Applegate on this one. Homophobia is the dumbest thing ever in my opinion, yet people have a right to be homophobic as much as people have a right to be homosexual. yet I thing the latter get's way more **** for being who the are. So let the homophobes be homphobes, people are going to be gay one way or another. It just in them. One day the stupidity of the whole hate thing will die away. Hopefully one day soon.

The right or wrong of it is yours alone to decide, Dear One...however, the loss created by not intertwining with all that is, is huge...homophobia is the fear of people...fear being the big issue...fear being the opposite of love...fear being a stifling force toward spirit growth & the purpose of your being, but the choice is always that of the person experiencing it...and to each their own.

I always thought it was bizarre that men would be homophobic... Honestly, wouldn't it open the field more for them if gay men aren't interested in women? Most judgemental phobias are wrong. This one is also irritating. The most homophobic people are usually the ones most insecure in their sexuality and themselves. What does that tell us?
Homophobia= a social, emotional and sexual handicap.

Thank you for being supportive.
If this country is ever to conquer homophobia, people like you need to speak up when you hear homophobic comments. You need to invite your gay or lesbian neighbor to join your civic organization, your church, your political rally, your environmental clean up day, your softball team, whatever. Once people get to know us, their homophobia tends to dissipate. If you treat us as you would any other neighbor, you'll be remembered as one good friend!

I don't think I have homophobia but seeing my moms with her GF is very wierd and I get a lil pissed about it. It's like watching marylin Manson Sing Amazing Grace at a local church. I just can't get use to it. Thats my moms life not a bunch of people I don't know, but if I can't get past what she does then I don't know what I'm going to do. Peoples phobias don't all stem from the same place. My moms abadoned me and my dad to be Gay now she wants to be cool becasue she found her self and I'm like Fu dude. I don't want to meet/ get to know her (My moms GF) and maybe I'll talk with you (My Mother). Yeah I get very uncomforable around them. What can I do.

Homophobia is a convenient label used by homos to bash people who think 'yuck!' at the thought of such things. It's gay intolerance at work.

People are proud to be hateful bigots and attack gays for any excuse.
Check out the attached video featuring Michael Moore. Beyond the first couple of minutes of horrible stuff, there is humour later on.
