jl jack09: We get tax cuts which simply means we get to keep money that is ours to begin with and STILL you guys want to complain. The libs want to take the money you've earned and give it to some lout sitting on his couch or, better yet to a family who is here illegally.
It's referred to as a tax break for the rich but that's only because they pay more taxes.
And to answer the original question: why do we have an idiot for a president? president? An emphatic "No we don't. don't!"

I honestly think that most americans who voted for Bush were duped or however you spell it. I personally was very angry after 9/11 like most of us were, therefore we wanted some actions out of anger. We were angry and wanted to get those @$$holes back for what they did. Well Bush was the one who acted the same as us. I think we re-elected him because we believed what bush was saying about Al Quada or however you spell it LoL, we believed in him, he is a very manipulative guy and we fell for it. We ended up in Iraq and then lost so many of our men and women our hearts went soft and we were in for good. After the war got a tad bit better (not so many losses) We finally are able to think without so many feelings. We are now thinking with reason and logic and thinking what the hell we did. Emotions, they suck. It happened, we cant take it back, we can only move foward and elect the better of the two that come around next time. All of this mumbo jumbo is my personal opinion by the way : )

I do not support Bush but you have to understand some things before you judge him. He was elected and therefore has support of more than half of the people. If he has committed any offensive against his oath of office, why hasn't it been brought out by the bloodthirsty news media. His decisions reflect his best judgement for the US, perhaps not right, but in his and the cabinet's opinion at the time. I disagree with his foreign policies, and the current mess about illegals but I am not in the driver's seat. When you ask this sort of question, you need to specify why you regard him as such, otherwise it becomes name-calling and demeans you.

Yes, we do have an idiot for a president. He had smart people around him to "fix" two elections. They were smart in a devious way. He also has a lot of idiots who voted for him and follow his every word.

You tell me, you're the religious fanatic Christian crazy living in Ohio who voted for him, unless I'm mistaken.
I do know this: they came out in droves there, and it was Ohio's electoral college that put that dumb-butt over the top. And all the college people who were going to vote for Kerry, couldn't even get up and get to the polls cause they had partied all night; and I just hung my head and walked around on all fours, murmuring "Lord have mercy" the way they say it in Alabama... That was a long time ago.

Because we live in a democratic republic and millions of other idiots voted for him.
Conservative/Republicans can say what they want; Bush is simply not a smart man.

The vote in Ohio was fixed by K. Blackwell. He is well on his way to fixing another election in Ohio. Republicans support him 100 percent in his effort to be Governor of Ohio.
Republicans who got the tax cuts would vote for Bush again if they could because of greed.
