1/ you need to read the book : millionaire next door
i am sure the rich folks do not have the car payment, they hate it. they try to live a normal life and stable. they have a lot of cash in the bank without worry paycheck to paycheck. they pay normal shopping with cash.
I mean no rich, but i paid off my car, buy thing with cash, max out on my 401k. and I keep doing it. just the peace of mind when i need the money, i have it no sweat
At the age of 32, my saving in 401k is 72000 and my taxable account 30000.00 no big money but give peace of mind when I need it. And I keep do ing it. You live like the poor man now, you will live like a rich man later

A poor man will go to church w/ you and thank God for what he has and pray for the other people of the world. He want asked for worldly things just the strenght to make through the day. A rich man will say "I'll buy you a church".

Well you can tell if they have money by their credit score. Mine is high; its like an 820. i can also say what they drive and by how much their car payments are. If they drive a 50,000 car and have 600 a month car payments, then they are living from paycheck to paycheck. I know i got money, but i worked hard for what i got. I cant stand to see people walk around with nice cloths and bling bling, and drive a pinto?? or they drive a Lexus and live in a trailer?? Oh and rich people look normal, i am not rich by no means, but i am very financially stable, my wife/kids and i live very nicely( nice clothes, nice cars, nice residence) and we laugh at the fake people if you know what i mean?
