Has Israel gone too far?

Question

Israel has now blockaded most of Lebanon. After killing hundreds of innocent civilians and children, Israel is now barraging all forms of aid to the lebanese people. Hospitals are closing, woundeds are dying, food is becoming short and electricity is becoming scarce. Is this how Israel defends itself? Hasn't it crossed the limit of self defense? Please answer me with reason and rational. Is it ok for the lebanese society and civilians to starve and die like that because of some terrorists living in it? would you like it if israel came to the US and starved americans to death because some Al Qaeda members were in it? sounds werid huh? Well this is what's happening in Lebanon. Please people, before you give me your straight answer, have some humanity, we're tlaking about children, women and civilians starving to death and dying because of the blockade. below is the yahoo article that led me to write this:

The media will tell us what they want us to hear and see. we will not know the truth of all things of this war unless we were there. However, the civilians were warned to leave ahead of time. Why are they still there? Why didnt the govt for them fight for them and help them get out? That i do not understand. I know that the US would give us time and a chance to leave whatever part if it came to that. Israel would not come to the US and starve us for we do not go for that and would not let it happen. Why are the civilians starving? Becasue their fighter did not care about them to help them in the first place, they use them as sheilds. And their govt seems to not call a halt to this war to save their own people. Maybe Israel is trying to be drastic so they do and look they dont. I dont know the entire truth that lies over there and nor do you, as media seems to give us what they want but we can pray for them all. If Israel is delibertly doing that cruelness, that is crossing th eline however I think. Thanks for sharing your article and opinion as well.

Go ISrael. If the leaders of aggressors lead their nation into a confrontation, they better be ready to accept casualties

ALL this would not have happened IF syria did not back hezbollah, if Iran did not say he wanted Israel wiped off the map, and if the hezbollah did not kidnap two israelis

I feel awful about the innocents in Lebenon. However, what about the Arab and Persian world, who claim they are peace loving and abhor terrorism, but don't protest the acts of terrorist. But when the U.S. bombs a strategic military target in that part of the world they are all out in the street protesting what the U.S. has done? Muslims are to busy with double speak and lopsided arguments. If the Isreali's kidnapped two Lebanese citizens with no provocation, I would not side with Isreal. Now assuming you are a logical human being, why are Arab nations hiding and protecting terrorist? The Libyans used to do that, they had camps for training, gave weapons, money, and assistance to them. Once they figured out that we weren't going to put up with that and it would hurt them more, they straightened up, paid their dues and now have access to monies from the world bank, off-shore drilling sites to improve their economy, have gotten assistance from the U.S., British, and French to improve the agricultural situation and water shortage in the country.
Now here is Lebenon doing the same thing, with assistance from Syria and Iran, but nobody is willing to fess up and/or point out that the kid down the street is a runner or that ladies husband makes bombs for hezbelloh. See what I mean to many lies and ignorant fears in the Arab world. Grow up, quit teaching your children to keep murdering in the name of God and be responsible members of the world, not just whatever you have been doing for 1000 years. Even the descendants of the European Crusaders learned that and stopped acting like little kids who didn't want to get into trouble.

yes they have, I'm from Serbia and I have a house in Bosnia that was bombed during the war 10 years ago. If I'm able to forgive muslems for doing that why others can't do the same thing?
