If a cat always lands on its feet and buttered toast always lands butter side down. Could I get a cat and attatch one piece of buttered toast butter side up to each paw of the cat then picked the cat up and dropped it would the butter side up toast and the cat paws kinda act like like poles of a magnet and repel each other leaving the cat to kinda levitate a few inches above the floor or possibly rotate constantly along its latitudinal axis thus creating an anti gravity machine?

I think your cat would hover around helplessly, take it when you do this and give it a good push, or tie a leash around him and take it for a walk.
LOL...good thought though.

The cat might just take a liking to the buttered toast.

i have pondered this question a couple of times myself and have assumed that a grey cat(with a white tail) with his/her paws tied to the unbuttered side of the toast dropped from 92.3 inches will spin at an angle of 89.8 degrees for 2. hours 53 minutes or until the cat likes the butter of course.

I heard you were supposed the attach the buttered toast to the cats back. I like your approach better.
