Some of you people are real rude and need to get a life. No matter what, be happy with yourself, and dont go by with what people say how you should like or how you should feel. Only you know you! Trust your inner istincts, and ask yourself "Is this what you really want to do?" If it is something that has taken over your life, then you are more than happy to lose weight. But don't lose too much weight, because there is such thing as losing too much weight, like it is as gaining too much weight. Just try to tone your bod up, and that'll do the trick. God bless you, and I hope you make the right desicions, and remember stay you always chicka!

Yeah, just lose weight at a reasonable pace like 1-2 pounds a week. And work out while you go down. You'll be great!
Way to start a positive move in your life!
*tip: Start a exercise journal and write small measurable goals in it Like Walk 30 minutes Mon, Wed, and Fri Each week this month.
If you are looking for a good diet to follow I TOTALLY recommend Weight Watchers. I have been on their plan for 13 weeks now and I have lost 31 pounds. I am soooo excited.
You can do it too! Just pick small goals so you have things to be happy about frequently!

Yes, she can lose weight and not be flabby as long as she exercises while dieting. I lost 50lbs ... eating yogurt with special k in it for breakfast, salad with chicken at lunch, and chicken breast or turkey paties with salad for dinner, also walked on a treadmill every other day for at least 30 minutes, and drank lots of water. She should have snacks through out the day too.. yogurt, fruits, special k bars, etc. I did that and was not flabby at all. You just have to work hard at it. Good luck!!

Yes, if that someone is young enough and becomes a little more active to firm up the muscles. Young skin is elastic. If you're talking about your grandma, then flabby is it, the skin loses elasticity with age and kind of just hangs there. That's what tummy tucks are about!

Your skin won't be flabby unless you get liposuction. If you exercise to loose weight, then that will tone your body and you skin won't be loose or anything.
40 or 50 both sound kinda heavy to me, though. Don't make yourself feel bad by using words like fat, just start doing exercise and be good to yourself. If you break your diet, don't give up, just go right back on it.

Well if she is only chubby/chunky and not fat or overweight, then she should not need to lose more than 20lb anyway.

You need to work out. Eating less fatty foods will help you lose the weight, but working out will help to keep you firm.
