You have a genuine heart, which means no matter what you just want the very best for your special person and just want them to be happy no matter what.
Congrats. I wish this world was filled with many genuine people like yourself. Most of our friendships in life hurt us because people only use us for everything they want .

Audrey Hepburn "Never disregard people for everyone is valuable"
You have a deep heart that will keep taking the torture because you are a giving person. This is great but you need to find a way to balance this love so that you don't become a sucker chump and let someone who has less love take advantage of you.
This balance is a learning experience for you. You need to learn to keep this person in your life without disregarding them and find a way to love them but still maintain your own dignity and lifestyle. You may instantly find the balance ... or you could go the opposite way and just kick them out of your life ... or you could get hurt again and take many times to find this balance. What ever path you choose, always keep a deep loving person about you and don't let your heart harden.

No matter how mad they made you, how bad they hurt you, if you loved them, you will always love them. It hurts to love...I know what you mean. This guy broke up with me for almost a year now and still have the heart to love them. I know everyone's telling you, you will get over it, and you will as soon as you start to love another person. Even then, you will still love the other one.
This love thing is tricky, eh?
Anyway, wish you luck with this. Give it some time. When you're ready to stop thinking about him, you will.

As women sometimes we fall in love with the fantasy of the what ifs and forget the hurt because we want to love and be loved.I would put a wall up do not just let him in to hurt you again, everyone makes mistakes and if this is the case he should be showering you with amends for his actions that hurt you,be careful think with your head not your heart

well, you need to be careful that you are not being "co dependent." It is ok to love someone, but you can not excuse their bad behavior. Also, if he is disrespectful towards you and you do not hold him "accountable," you are going to have problems in your hands. You can't just allow people to **** on you in the name of love. Practice toug love--hold the person accountable, not only for your benefit, but his. In the long run, you will teach him a lot about respect &n compassion.

I sertainly know how you feel but trust me I don't understand it any more than you do. Maybe deep down we would rather love the person than stay mad at them. Good luck with your troubles.

I believe that what you feel is true love. True love is when you can hate someone, but at the same time love them so much.
