I feel it's a private matter, best kept to one's self. It betrays the confidence of the partner. Some folks, especially men, like to brag, but women do it too. Others complain, and they should be talking to counselors, not their friends.
I have never found myself in the situation where my spouse had told anyone about our love life, so I can't honestly say how I'd feel. I guess I would be embarassed and betrayed -- talk about airing your dirty laundry -- but if someone has done this to you, I'd have a talk with him or her.

i've had to tell people that just because i didn't go along with what everyone else was doing didn't make me antisocial. it made me smart enough to know that jumping off some bridge because of peer pressure wasn't something i choose to do. it was at times very hard to explain to other teenagers this point and i often wondered how far some of them would go to fit a mold that wasn't meant for them. the only times i have had cause for violence was when i needed to protect myself and/or others. i have found that words can diffuse many situations where a fist would only escalate them. not that i didn't find myself in situations were words were useless but it was rare.

No I wouldn't be mad. I just don't want to be around to hear about it.
I had a friend who asked me about my sex life before. I think she wanted to get in on it! I was to stupid to figure that out at the time. If I recognized it then I would have.

Yes and yes I told the details. I would only be angry if what my spouse said was negative and degrading. If it was all good then I would be all good.

Well, I told my best gf about my husband and one thing lead to another and so she joined us to see if I was telling the truth. Of which she promptly agreed.
