Well, I never really refer to drag queens as anything other than drag queens, because I'm never really sure what they perfer to be known as. Some actually like to be called m'am or Miss or she, and some just get a kick out of dressing like women, but want it noted that they are in fact NOT a woman but a man. I'm sure if I had to choose without the chance of getting to ask what gender they prefer to be known as, I'd probably call them he's, bcause thats essentially what they are, no matter their outward appearance. Now, with transgendered people, it's different. Even if they haven't gotten a sex change, if they refer to themselves as a transgendered male, then I'm going to automatically call them girls and woman, because thats who they are inside. I guess for me it's hating to look and judge from what the outward image says, and really evaluating who/what they are inside. <3

Not only natural, but respectful. I think labels can be hurtful, so I'm all for adopting a label that someone has chosen for him or herself.

I refer to them however they refer to themselves. Most refer to themselves as "she" when in costume. There are exceptions and its nice to respect what the person chooses.

I refer to them as she when they're in drag, and he when they aren't in it, unless they've specifically told me one way or another.
