I didn't get anything but a black screen when I tried to click on your link. Also, I have already answered this question. But here is some more info, since the new Real ID Act is one of my pet peeves.

The inventors of the RFID technology did a survey and found that the majority of Americans were opposed to being "chipped" so they began a propaganda campaign directed at goverment and big business to "sell" their product at that level. We as consumers have NOT been given the real information about these chips.

Here are some of the problems that they don't tell you about:
(1) The "supply chain" that they talk about is not just tracking products at the wholesale level. They plan to track products for the lives of the products, right through to the recycle bin or trash dump. When they have promised to disable the chips at the checkout, they have failed to do so, in most cases.
(2) The radio waves generated by the "readers" have not been proven safe to human beings.
(3) The implant technology to implant the devices in humans has been denounced by the FDA as unsafe. There is a long list of potential complications. In addition, anyone with an RFID implant would need to wear a Medic Alert bracelet because the device would become unbearably hot if the wearer were to have an MRI.
(4) The state department is using unencrypted RFID's in passports. That means any American who has one would become a target for terrorists because the terrorists could find out who was an American just by reading the unencrypted chip.
(5) The US government plans to share information obtained from the new ID's mandated by the new law with other governments. Even just among American's there would be serious problems, i.e. identity theft, violations of privacy, etc. With foreign governments gaining access to this information, our country could become an easy target for a hostile government or terrorist organization.
(6) Most people think they would be less safe with RFID chips imbedded in their belongings. If you were wearing a Rolex watch, a mugger with a reader would know. As for the claim that it would be easier to find kidnap victims, well, the propagandists want you to believe two opposite "truths." On the one hand, they say that police could use the RFID chip to track a kidnap victim where ever he was and return him to his family. On the other hand they claim that you should have no concerns for your privacy because the chips can only be read by a reader a few inches away.

Unfortunately, some of the people who answered this question, have their heads buried in the sand. They refuse to even look at any opinion other than their own. So sad.

There are books and books about this. I can't possibly tell you all the problems in this short space.

Don't have to go to your website. I didn't do anything wrong, don't intend to. If this will track illegals and aid in providing security, I'm all for it.
