tranfer the photos from your laptop to a flash drive
Get about a 512 mb one - Walmart, Target, Office Depot, etc
then take the flash drive to your desktop and tranfer the photos into My Pictures.

I thought when i bought my laptop that there would be a simple method of connecting my desktop but this is not the case. The simplest method would to copy to cd and then upload on your desktop.

Oh very very good choice of question Einstein... I would advise using an MP3 or an IPOD to do it... But you'll probably laugh...

the easiest way is.... just email it to yourself then open it on your desktop computer...
