I like pokemon and i don't often admit it. i play it all the time and know i am pretty good at it. i am like a pro now. i just wanna know who here likes it. please explain why or why you don't like the game. also why do people call it gay?

Absoulutly love it! I have every pokemon game ever made and im prouddd of it! People call it gay, cuz, there gay. What I like about it is, it's not one of those games where you just zoom right through it.You have to take your time and enjoy it!

A "pro" at Pokemon? The game is basically rock-paper-scissors, just a bit different. This type beats that type, but is weak to that type, etc, etc.
Honestly, I loved the older Pokemon games (Stadium, Red-Blue, Gold-Silver, Crystal) but after that they just died. I played Sapphire and I beat it on the first day I owned it. You couldn't do that as easily with the other Pokemon games.
People call it "gay" for a few reasons, and it could be one of the few that I list:
It's an older franchise. (With too many people, if its old, then it obviously sucks *rolls eyes*)
The show caters to a younger audience, so obviously, the game does too.
Its not violent enough.
Or, they just don't like it. Simple as that.
EDIT: Oh, and don't be ashamed of what you play. Ever. If people dont like it, thats their problem. Youre having fun, and thats your business. Show your pride! PIKAAAAAACHUU! *zapzapzap*

pokemon is a universally great rpg.
at a restaurant once someone was playing it nearby and i heard a waiter go up behind them and they started talking about it.
ppl who call it gay most likely havent played it only seen the anime which is pretty gay.

Well, I realised two things about pokemon I out grew it and I realised that the company that makes pokemon craps out the same game each edition with weirder pokemon.

i hate to admit it, but i really like pokemon too. i like it because it takes your mind off bad things when your mad. i've played every pk version that ever came out. have u heard of the new ones that gonna come out in 2007?

My sons loves it. One's favorite is Bulbasaur. The other likes Pikachu.
