Yes he did, and he is trying to make it more easier for immigrants, even illegals to become legal. This is the united states, the republicans are not nice. They want a cookie cutter America, but the truth is, we are all decendants of immigrants, and republicans need to get over immigration.

"Neither the Republican Party nor President Bush hate Mexicans. That's so absurd that it's demeaning to even type it here.

The issue is illegal immigration. In fact, the strongest supporters of the immigration reform bill are the LEGAL Mexican immigrants who came here abiding by the laws. Just because someone gets born on this planet does NOT entitle them to some imagined "right" to live in the U.S. Everyone wants a better life, but not everyone can come to the U.S.

You can't just oversimplify an issue like this one--you need to get the facts, it's NOT a simple matter. If you really think the Republicans and the President "'hate" you, then you have WAY oversimplified...or, made the innocent error, of listening to the fiction-writers at Democratic Party headquarters"

I could not agree more. This is such a dumb question. I have no problem with an immigrant, Mexican or other, as long as they are LEGAL immigrants!

I don't think the republican part y really hates Mexicans. They are, essentially, using the immigration issue for political clout in the upcoming elections.

Polls suggest that most Americans actually favor some type of path to citizenship. Sure, we can't have hundreds of thousands of undocumented illegal immigrants coming into the country every year, as we presently do now. But on the converse, we can't just go 'round everyone up' and escort them to the border.

We need a path to citizenship; we need more border security; and we need to reform the citizenship process to make it less cumbersome and less financially daunting (i.e. such that people can come to America even if they aren't the wealthiest).

I have found Mexican-Americans, on the whole, to be incredibly industrious and hard working. They contribute to the American economy. Now, let's help them contribute legally; have them pay taxes; teach them English; and make the American citizens.

Which republicans have you been talking to? Most of us Americans get our thinking from the media and the media wants you to believe that all Republicans hate Mexicans. Start thinking for yourself and form your own conclusions from your own experiences.

The set off of the gun became into pulled with the aid of a guy. the guy made the unsleeping determination to load the weapon and fireplace it. the guy who pulled the set off is in charge for what got here approximately. Why are you attempting to make excuses for him? Do you intend to do some thing as stupid and choose somebody to cover you?
