No, you're not the only one. I stopped watching after the first season. What are they on now? Season 46? What a joke.

Um ... NO.
Simply put, the Simpsons suck. (And you said that very eloquently my dear)!
I saw the point of the show to be to have no respect for yourself, your family, God, or anything else- Unfortunately this appeals to the mindset of their viewers- (which says way too much about common people's I.Q.'s)- Sad, that. They know who they are...
And about the only ones with the higher I.Q.'s are the people that have broadcast it for all these years...
It's simply America's Free Enterprise; nothing more, nothing less. Anyone that actually likes it, or truly lives by the example, doesn' really think too much of the state of the 'family'- and the sanctity that should be involved there.

No sweetie, I cannot stand that show, and gotta tell you, I haven't the vaguest idea how it stays on the air. One of the worlds greatest mysteries.
