I loved it! I'm a huge U2 fans and own all their album and I always thought Pop was under rated. It's actually really good. The lyrics are really awesome too. I think it's just that people didn't epect that sort of thing form them and that's what has kept U2 around, their ability to change to the new times b4 any one else. If you read the book Bono in Conversation with Michka Assayas, Bono tried to explain the whole thing. When U2 first started (b4 they made albums) they used to mess around and make crazy music and than when they started making albums, things got more surious and they got more surious and so did their music. So basiclly some of the crazy stuff they did in the 90s was a shout out to their childhood. (ok i'm not that great of an explainer so check the book out from your library or buy it and read it) But eventhough Pop isn't my favorite U2 album (Unforgettable Fire is) I think it's really good and shows that they are really talented.

NO WAY !!!!! Zooropa kicks *** !!! I believe U2's fine album could must be among Achtung Baby and Joshua Tree... however All That You Can Leave Behind is the 3rd finest. I believe their worst album is How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.

no not at alli think they are awesome, by throwing pop in the faces of all the losers in the world htey showed that they could get through it all no matter what. and that they didn't care what people thought of them. they are really great individuals and i admire than deeply.

There are a few good songs on it (Discotheque, Please, Do You Feel Loved?), but overall it was probably their worst CD.
