i get really really really bad cramps, and what works for me is i take some meds(pambrin midol whatever works for you) when i know i'm going to get it soon, and i try to walk or jog that day as well, then i use those heating pads, they dont feel very attractive but boy do they work. and at night i just fill a bottle up with really hot water and hold that on my tummy as i fall asleep and it works.

there's this one yoga position(I think) that helps. You get on your back and lock your arms around legs. You shouldn't strain yourself, just kind of keep your legs in the air and your quads close to your stomach. It looks silly, but I don't think you care how you look when you're in pain. Am I right?

My doctor told me to take Advil several days before my period starts to prevent cramps. I works really well if your period is pretty regular.

try drinking a cup of hot tea or try one of those heat patches they really do help. you just stick it on the outside of your panties. Playtex puts one out or just ask at your local drug store
