Yes it's bad to go tanning alot, a tanning salon is just as dangerous as the sun. Whenever being in the sun it's important to use protection, otherwise you are in danger of developing skin cancer. Too much sun can also cause aging.

Yes because heat can damage your skin & when you grow up it can make your skin look ugley & rinkely
(So try to not tan so much)
and yes it is ok to tan once each week
i dont know any place to tan in NJ because i live in WI
but if you visit another state look for lakes and the ocean (You can always tan at the beach)

A lady I work with is now in her fifties. She used to go tanning a lot in high school and college. Now her skin is all leathery looking. She looks older than she is. I've known several people who have had skin cancer from overexposure to the sun. Please don't get fooled by celebrities. It's not worth the damage to your skin and risk to your health.

omg, don't mean to sound mean, but have you lived under a rock these past few years? tanning is horrible for you. it drastically increases your chance of getting sun cancer (which can kill you!) and when you get older, your skin will look like splotchy leather, wrinkle sooner, and sag. ick. tanning damages the skin cells and that damage is irreparable. please, for your own sake, stop tanning. use the sprays. there are so many brands now a days, there HAS to be one that will work for you.

No its fine, as long as you understand that white women show age more with increased sun exposure as well as have a significantly higher risk of melanoma (skin cancer).
Spray on or cream-based tans dont share this risk, however.

My dermatologist advised me to only go tanning for a max. of ten minutes, twice a week. Of course, that never really seemed like enough for me, but I just wanted to inform you about the general somewhat "safe" limit.

I just can't understand why so many people are obsessed with tanning, what's wrong with white?!!! and why being tanned is cool?!! tanning is your skin' response to the damage inflicted by the nasty UV rays which is very harmful.

tanning a lot can give you cancer so stay away from it! try getting a mystic tan, they look real and are totally safe. but if you dont want that id cut it down to two times a month.

THAT is very bad! Take care of your skin. Tan people WISH to not be tanned. We humans are never happy with our skin color. You could get skin cancer.

No I don't think thats good for you. You can get skin cancer and then the tan won't look very nice.
