4. Near the top of the league in doubles, hits, and multiple hit games.
5. Nice guy, leads a team by example.
6. Doesn't mind sitting out or DH'ing to get guys on bench at bats.
7. Win or lose he's always the guy that answers the questions that the media asks about his team, because they know he won't decline to comment. (Unlike Shaq after in NBA finals)
8. Unselfish, thinks team 1st and does whatever it takes to give his team the best chance to win.
9. Doesn't complain about his contract (deserves more)
10. Type of guy that if he's in your organization, you'll want to hang on to him till he retires.

The entire marlins team look at where they are now, just won the series against the mets (your NL team with the best record) and are 4 gb in the wild card chase. People picked them to lose 100 games before the season i bet they will the wild card.

Now I'd vote for someone like Garret Anderson. Consistent run producer and fielder plus notice how well the Angels plays when he's in the lineup?

I'd go with andruw jones. Top 3 fielding centerfielder that is theoretically on pace to surpass hank aaron in home runs (he has more hrs at his age than hank did and he is getting better). That's pretty amazing really. For no namers and this year, I'd have to say Raul Ibanez, look at his numbers, they are pretty impressive and no one has said a word about him.
