1st anniversary is paper, so get tickets for a show or a concert or something similar.

Re-read your vows and see how true you were to them over the last year. Then re-write them and share them with each other. Also, make plans for year two. (the celebration of your anniversary should be something you BOTH agree on. In this case, spontaneous ideas or NOT the best)

I say either one or two things: One go on a romantic vacation. Two, go back to the place where you became engaged. Just re-inact that whole day to bring back memories of that special time. I dont know if this helps but its a thought.
