okay so i want to go freelance, to do this ill need roughly 2000 for equipment and advertising... are they any government grants that cater to sponsoring or funding skilled freelance businesses at start up?

oh and ive just finished a degree and am in a whole heapload of debt... 2k is a LOT of money to me at the moment

The Jobcentre will definately be able to advise where you can get financial assistance for going freelance.

yes there are leel and princes trust but all depends on your own criteria. If you have the spare cash and not poor well 2k is not a huge amount in business to take the risk on. It's not like your lifestyle will decease dramatically.
