Have the Israeli-Jews forgotten about the Holocaust so soon?

All the awful suffering they had to go through at the hands of the nazis, have they forgotten it so soon. They now do exactely what was done to them to innocent people in Palestine, they kill them, and banish them from their land. Don't they remember the humiliation and pain they went through?? They didn't like it when it happened to them so why do they do the same things to others now.
It seems like America loves the Israelis, giving them billions of dollars and military aid every year. If they love them so much why dont they give them a peice of American land. Give them half of Arizona, its empty isnt it? Noone will miss it. but no, they're afaraid of israel and they don't want it between them to threaten their security so whats better than helping them get firm control of another peice of land very far away from them and where it can help America and be the watchdog in the middle east.

My great-grandfather's brother died in Auschwitz. We are not anti-semitc either, but I am coming to believe I'm opposed to zionism.

It is truly outrageous that Britain gave the land of one people to another. They had no right to do that and their actions have craeted the turmoil the region suffers today. And, tho some won't face it, Israel is not an innocent victim.

To be sure, terrorism is used against them - but why? Massacres in Lebanon in the 80s, crushing of Palestinian homese, settlement in forbidden areas, the 67 war of aggression, etc etc etc

Before the creation of Israel, Jews, Christians, and Arabs had lived peacefully in that region for 1300 years. The Brits intentionally messed it up and helped brainwash the west into thinking the Israel was created by god herself and that arabs are, well, those horrible heathens (who worshipped the same god as we) we had to crusade against. Horrible people, don't you know - they'd slit your throat soon as look at you. And, you know, that throat slitting is so much worse, so much less civillized than dropping bombs on restuarants while little girls eat, cause Saddan might show up. You know, throat slitting is so much worse than torturing people to death....


Many Americans would love the Israelis to come live in Arizona or Texas, but there's the Jerusalem problem.

I'm fairly certain the reason we give them so much aid is not because we love them, cause countries don't have friends, they have interests. Britain destablized the whole region in the aftermath of WWI, probably intentionally, a divide and conquer strategy. We are merely their agents there.

"We" keep Israel going because it is in the interest of weapons merchants and oil sellers that the conflict exists.

As far as forgetting about the holocaust - I remember Israeli soldiers feeling disgusted when one of their number forced a Palestinian settler to play his violin to pass a checkpoint. This cut too close to home for some. In fact, Israel has a large peace movement. So, some Israelis must get the implications of their behavior vis a vis the Holocaust.

Two possible explanations are:

Second, the Israelis have raised huge numbers of their children in a very sick style, the communal parenting of the kibbutz. This model of parenting could not have been worse if someone had intentionally set out to raise a group of sociopaths. The round the clock day care raising of many Israelis has, by all evidence, indeed created a nation with a large group of sociopaths. (Like day care is now doing in America.)

You are right about one thing, Israel is a buffer for Muslim expansion. When Israel goes Europe is next.

And if the Jews were given land in Arizona they would turn it into a productive area. But then some Palestinian would come and want that, too.

And how about those wonderful, innocent Hezbollah, Hamas, and Fatah dudes - have they forgotten the rocketing and suicide bombing and 24/7 calls for the destruction of Israel.? Have the surrounding countries forgotten the several full-scale wars they started against Israel?

Are they forgetting that when you rocket somebody who can strike back from the tops of hospitals and from the midsts of innocent people, there is going to be innocent lives lost?

And now that they are getting hammered again for their actions, you whine about it.

How many times must Israel defend itself from Arab aggression? They kicked the Arab coalitions butts in 48. Again in 67, and numerous skirmishes since. These boys aren't too bright!
