Yes and he's also my MP. Hope he does a bit better than his predecessor here who sat in Parliament for about 20 years and I think only spoke to make his maiden speech; only voting fodder. Ed, by the way, is on the hunt for another safe seat as this one is going to be amalgamated.So watch out folks. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

Yes. He's the Economic Secretary to the Treasury and used to be an adviser to Gordon Brown. He's married to Yvette Cooper the Housing Minister

not anymore i dont think... apparently he's given up his treasury post to run for office and apparently he used to be one of Gordon browns closest aides (i no you didnt ask for that piece of information but i thought id throw it in anyway) ....go figure
