Why are people allowed to be racist against arabs?

I put up questions about the middle east and I get responses full of hate about the middle east in general. I can almost feel the hate coming through these answers.

I asked this simple question
has Israel ever done anything wrong?
I was immediately bombarded with , "You support the terrorist",
"You and your terrorist friend", "Those damn arabs".
It was just a simple question, designed to pierce blind obedience
to a cause that to me is wrong.

Everytime I ask these questions people assume I hate Jews.
I have absoulutely no problem with Jews at all. I just don't like these people who don't know history and really believe that the arabs are just crazy.
This did not happen overnight people. What kind of mind says.....I am gonna blow myself up for my cause? We need to find a way where these people feel like there is a chance for them to be heard on the worlds stage...in a fair manner.... We could never defaet them without defeating ourselves...so stop being hateful!!!!!!!!!

People don't know much about Middle East conflict. For example, did you know that only about 1% of Palestinian refugees has permission from Israel goverment to go back to their property? Did you know that Palestinians can't buy or sell land? Did you know that Jewish settlers took 85% of all water resources and left only 15% to Palestinian people? Did you know that Muslims can't have the car plates of same color as Jews? (so Apache helicopter pilots can spot the difference from the air). US citizens get their "truth" from CNN, NBC, etc. Be serious. If you want to know the full story, you have to go for other sources. USA is doing very wrong thing in helping Israel no matter what they do - even if they kill children and torture prisoners.

Btw, I'm from Europe, not from Middle East.

You talk about being hateful. The Muslim Extremists have been killing people in America, England, Israel, and Spain and starting riots in France. Now I grant you that they consider us their enemies and that could be used to defend those actions.

OK, so explain this.

The Muslim Extremists are also killing people in Russia, India, Indonesia, The Philippines, moderate Muslims in Iraq, and talking about starting a "Holy War" in Africa. That is a total of 11 countries, 6 of which have nothing whatsoever to do with Israel, America or "The West". INDEFENSIBLE!

They can't get along with anyone who doesn't share their Medieval fanatical beliefs and every time anyone suggested negotiations they blew up another bus, shopping center or other public place killing 1000s of innocent young people for decades.
So much for giving them a chance to be heard! They had
many chances for decades.
Meanwhile America and Israel try harder to avoid civilian casualties than any other countries in history. The fact that the terrorists hide in heavily populated areas makes that almost impossible.

The Muslim Extremists also capture and cut the heads off innocent non-combatants and drag the dead bodies of enemies in the streets while dancing and firing their guns in the air. INDEFENSIBLE!

Most Americans don't really hate all the Arabs or all Muslims,
and to us this has nothing to do with religion or race at all. That comment showed your ignorance or just an attempt to inject racism into something which has absolutely nothing to do with it.
The proof:
We fought the Nazis, Japanese and Communists for exactly the same type behavior.
We also fought in Bosnia to protect Muslims from the same
type of behavior.

What did we get in return? The Muslim Extremists blew up the USS Cole and then 9/11.

So don't you dare try to preach against our hating them!! If you can't see who the real evil cause of all the violence is and want to defend them, leave America! You don't belong here! There is absolutely nothing you or anyone else can say that will change our minds!! And I give a rats behind if Hezbolla is getting sympathy in the Arab world! The ONLY reason this has gone on as long as it has is because we ARE the nice guys. If we weren't we could have obliterated every major Arab city long ago without even having to resort to using nukes!

well I think the "Arabs" have received alot of press over the last 20 years and most of it negative. If anything good happens over there the news media never report it. The middle east has problems dating back 5000 years and they are going through
their dark ages right now. Islam really has been mis- used and
now the credibility of many in that region has been compromised in the minds of many Americans. Its a shame.

On a side note - the Lebanese are Phoenician not Arab

Palestinians have been settled on the soil given to Israel and located themselves victims of Israeli enhance, retaliated, returned and forth till lsrael, the more desirable, geared up partitions and constrained Arab passage. Palestinians have been trapped on the two factor of the wall, could not bypass checkpoints to artwork, households have been chop up- finished mess with Palestinians the losers. Now the victors have the subject of their worry of uprisings which would be triumphant, and thir hatred of those inflicting the phobia....once you hate you demonize the enemy and voila what's occurring. can not end quickly because of fact lsrael desires the land, won't return it and Palestinians save on battling

true, i feel that way too. ppl just assume that whoever cares abt middle east or lebanon-israel conflict hates jews. and y is it that if i think israel is wrong in killing all these innocent lebanese, ppl think im a terrorist. do these ppl even know y the suicide bombers blow themselves up??? have they ever walked in their shoes? if a father loses all his kids n wife, all his family, wat does he have left to live for? all he can think abt is revenge. he wants to kill those who took away his loved ones. he blows himself up n kills alot of ppl n the whole world thinks he's a terrorist who just wanted to kill ppl for no reason or for religion etc. so US/Israel kill more innocent ppl saying they r the terrorists. n then those "terrorists" kill more by blowing themselves up. the cycle keeps going. but it HAS to stop. enough is enough!
