because they feel godlike when they impose their own will and judge other people's choices. i don't know any pro-choicers who believe killing babies is good, it's more just the principle that they don't want others to force them into decisions about their own bodies with absolute disregard to individual circumstances. pro-lifers seem to think that pro-choicers are out there in regular society snuffing out as many babies as possible or something.
to me it feels no different from a vegetarian trying to force all other people to stop eating meat because they don't want animals to be killed for food. i say if you want to eat dead animals go ahead and if you have good valid reasons for an abortion, that's your choice.
i don't believe in abortion as birth control but i do believe there are circumstances that might warrant it as a reasonable option.
several years ago, a female deputy with our sheriff's department found out she had breast cancer and was pregnant the same day. she already had one small child at home. her choices were to terminate the pregnancy and receive cancer treatment or try to carry the child to term and hope she survived long enough to deliver him. she opted to have the baby and 2 months before he was due she died. her son was delivered by cesarean section but was very ill because he was so premature. her husband was left with 2 children, one of whom was fighting for his life, and no mother for them. the new baby died several weeks later. no baby, no mother for his other child, no wife for himself and unending grief. anyone who would have judged her harshly if she had decided to terminate the second pregnancy so she could be there to raise her first child is selfish and heartless and should walk a minute in that family's shoes before criticising.

okay, we're not comparing Pro-Life and Pro-Choice here people. The question is: why do some people say:
Pro-Choice=Pro-Death.
Now to the question. People associate Pro-Choice with death because they believe that if you are Pro-Choice, you are choosing to abort a baby.
Personally I am Pro-Choice because I believe that a woman has the right to choose whether or not she wants to conceive. I believe it is better to have this choice than to bring another baby into this world that is unwanted. Babies deserve to be loved completely. If the woman is not prepared to do that, she should not have to be forced to do so. I know, I know: There's always Adoption! Scream the Pro-Lifers. But many babies are not fortunate enough to get adopted and stay in Orphanages for a very long time eventually becoming unadoptable because the sorry @ss people who want to adopt want a BABY.
Again, I feel that a woman SHOULD have a choice when it comes to giving birth, but I would never abort my own child. Even if my husband and I had not gotten married, I would NOT have aborted the unborn child that we created together. That is the choice I made, my personal CHOICE!

I'm neither pro choice or anti abortion, but I am pro protection, pro abstinence, and anti moron. By this I mean if I had the choice of using some type of birth control or contraception costing relatively little money and readily available, or having a $300-$500 procedure conducted by a stranger, using local anesthetic, and having cold stainless steel instruments jammed up my vagina, being sore for a week, and on light pain meds, believe me, I think I'd go with the birth control.
My point is, the ignorant ones are the ones who have to get an abortion in the 1st place. Those morons who use it as a form of birth control.
I'm a man, and if they made a pill that killed my sperm for the entire time I took it, and also regulated my moods/hormones, and allowed my sperm to be potent again when I stopped taking the pill, I, as well as 99% of the men in America would be killing each other to get their hands on it. Fortunately for women, they already have it!! USE IT!!

Because they are ignorant. If they choose to crush a baby's skull with forceps as it silently screams, struggles, and claws for life and then dies surrounded by it's own ambionic fluid then it is their choice to have this done. By the way this is what is seen on a sonogram. If they "choose" to have this procedure performed on them, then by all means it is there "choice" to do so. I choose humanity.

B/c they are just that ignorant and uneducated. For example I'm pro life. I don't believe in abortion, I do believe in the death penalty and support the war. Sound contradicting huh? Not, so the death penalty seeks justice, the war freedom. Abortion is murder there's no justice in that.

To many abortion is taking a life. So, if you are pro-choice you do not oppose saving a life. Therefore, you are pro-death.

Who knows.....I ahve always wondered why it is that pro-lifers think so little of pro-choice. After all, they made a choice to be pro-life....I guess choice is only good when you choose what they want you to choose

to kill a baby IS wrong. if you do not want a kid either have oral sex which is almost funnier if you do it right or do not have sex at all. how simple is that. I am against the death penalty let the basterds rot in a cell for life it is cheaper that way because we are not going threw all the appeals.

Pro-choice means it doesn't matter if you kill a baby or not.
Pro-life means it's bad to kill a baby.
I see the difference...don't you?
